Movement

At BOOM, movement training is about building strength, endurance, power, and balance. Different than most strength and conditioning programs, BOOM focuses on preventing injury and increasing durability. Your training, conducted either virtually or in-person, will incorporate mobility, stability, strength, and cardiovascular exercise, all designed around your current individualized needs, abilities, and goals, and moving you toward a proactive, wellness-driven movement practice.

 

Mindset

At BOOM, we leverage and strengthen your mindset to not only overcome challenges and solve problems, but also to set and achieve goals, and to optimize your ability to perform in context. By enhancing and applying your mental skills to your physical, social, and relational experiences, you increase your ability to navigate the obstacles of life, rather than feeling controlled by them bringing your state and strength of mind to a new level.

Nutrition

At BOOM, we seek to optimize your quality of life through nutrition — fueling and hydrating for your body’s nourishment needs — that best allow you to perform at peak levels. Feeling your best is a top priority, which we work towards by making incremental changes to your current lifestyle and nutrition habits. Nutrition coaching, conducted virtually, is conversationally based, including education, discussion, thoughtful questions, and planning, all in service of your nutritional needs and practices.

 

Recovery

At BOOM, we use Physical Therapy as a proactive recovery treatment of the whole body by first looking at global movement patterns to uncover and explore past injuries and physical limitations, as well as to assess current dysfunctions of movement. We identify what moves well and what areas could move more fluidly. Virtual or in-person recovery sessions are based on your assessment and individual goals, working collaboratively with your movement programming to enable your body to heal, revitalize, restore, and recover, to help you to feel your best.
